Foxcombe Lodge Oxford, was officially opened in July 1985 by his Grace the Duke of Marlborough. Set with beautiful south facing gardens in the tranquil setting of Boars Hill located 4 miles from Oxford and Abingdon. The hotel is an ideal base for visiting Oxford's historic colleges & exploring the picturesque villages of the Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace. We are a traditional family run hotel that is very individual, if you're after white walls and something modern with time, then we are not the place for you. All bedrooms were recently re-furbished and are en-suite, equipped with a terminal PC with free 24 internet access, colour televisions, direct dial telephones, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. The 'Club Bar' and 'F1 Bar' boasts a selection of over 300 drinks to choose from and if you like your whiskey then you're coming to the right place.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 3.
We have several family rooms please specifie the number of beds required and the number of persons staying. There are serval views for the family rooms one overlooking the gardens, the other two over looking the hotel grounds. Includes a Full English Breakfast

These are Large and Spacious rooms with a Four Poster bed and all the facilites of our standard rooms. Rooms 23, 25 & 26 over look the South facing Gardens, Room 34 over looks the Hill Room includes a Full English Breakfast or Tray Continental. Flowers, Champagne or/and Chocolates can be arranged at an extra charge please call for details.
By Car (from the A34):
- Exit the A34 at the Hinskey Hill interchange (this is the 1st exit for Oxford, if coming from Abingdon/Newbury and the last exit for Oxford if coming from the M40 junction 9).
- Take the exit on the roundabout signposted Wootton/Boars Hill.
- Travel up the hill for half a mile and at the top of the hill turn right signposted Wootton and Boars Hill.
- Ignore the hotel sign as it is not for us.
- Carry on down this road for exactly 1.1 miles, taking no other turnings, and we are on the left hand side just as the hill starts to descend. If there are any problems then please don't hesitate to contact us.
